HOW TO REGISTER

The Fall Season will start on Wednesday, September 16th at 411 Seniors Centre Society (3502 Fraser St).

Rehearsals will take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00pm

  • Weekly Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 7-9pm, September 16th – January 20th
    Holiday Break: Wednesday, December 23rd - 30th
    Extended Rehearsal:‍ ‍Sunday, January 10th 1-4pm
    Performance: Saturday, January 23rd
Sectional Practices: Each section will have the opportunity to meet with their section leaders to workshop their parts at least twice throughout the season (dates to be determined).

Step 1

Complete the Registration Form

  • Indicate your preferred section and let us know about your vocal and musical goals, interests and challenges.

    • We will be limiting the number of singers in each section to create a balanced choir blend. If your preferred section is not available, we encourage you to try one section higher or lower for a challenge!

  • Agree to the Rain Coast Choir Terms and Conditions in order to complete registration.

  • Visit our FAQ page If you have questions or concerns regarding our Terms and Conditions.

Step 2

Submit Payment

  • Season Registration - One Time Payment

    • Season tuition for Fall 2026 is $495, which covers participation in the full season.

    • Choosing this option helps us cover up-front costs such as deposits for rehearsal and performance venues and equipment, as well as ongoing operating expenses and fair compensation for our director to prepare for the season. Thank you!

  • Season Registration - Monthly Instalment Plan

    • Payment plans are available, allowing members to pay their season tuition fee in instalments as follows:

      • $200 due upon registration to secure your spot

      • $120 due monthly on October 1st, November 1st, and December 1st.

    • You will receive an email reminder when it's time to make your next payment.

    • By agreeing to an instalment plan, members commit to pay the full season tuition in 4 instalments (review the Registration section in our Terms and Conditions for details).

  • Payments can be made via e-transfer to register@raincoastchoir.com.

    • You will receive your official welcome email with section assignment, practice materials and other information closer to the start of the season.

Step 3

Get Ready to Sing!

Get to know the songs we’ll be singing this season. The more prepared we can be, the more songs we can sing!

  • You will receive a playlist of this season’s songs as soon as you register. We recommend listening to these songs a bunch! This will help you get a feel for the melody (which provides great context for understanding and memorizing harmonies), the style, and energy of the songs.

  • Singers are encouraged to learn their parts to the songs on their own to the best of their ability.

  • You will receive practice tracks and lyrics shortly before the season starts to help you get a head start on some of the songs.

To ensure that you receive important emails, add the following addresses to your contacts or safe-senders list:

  • joline@raincoastchoir.com

  • sing@raincoastchoir.com

  • info@raincoastchoir.com
