SPRING 2024 SEASON

The Spring Season will start on Wednesday, February 21st at 411 Seniors Centre Society (3502 Fraser St).

Rehearsals will take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00pm

The focus of our Spring 2024 season will be grounding in our bodies, rooting in rhythm, and refining our ability to listen and sing together. We will sing songs by Spoon, Serena Ryder, Perfume Genius and more!

We will host a performance at the end of the season to share our songs with our friends and families. We are aiming to schedule the show for June 1st or 2nd (to be confirmed).

Step 1

Complete the Registration Form

• Indicate your preferred section and let us know about your vocal and musical goals, interests and challenges.

  • We will be limiting the number of singers in each section to create a balanced choir blend. If your preferred section is not available, we encourage you to try one section higher or lower for a challenge!

• Agree to the Rain Coast Choir Terms and Conditions in order to complete registration.

Step 2

Submit Payment

New this season! We are offering a new monthly payment plan option in order to make registration as accessible as possible.

Monthly Payment Plan

• Option to pay for season tuition in 4 monthly installments of $125.

• Initial payment of $125 due upon registration to secure your spot.

• Subsequent payments will be due on the following dates:

  • March 1, 2024 - 2nd installment due

  • April 1, 2024 - 3rd installment due

  • May 1, 2024 - 4th installment due

• You will receive an email reminder when it's time to make your next payment.

• Payments can be made via e-transfer to register@raincoastchoir.com

• By agreeing to a monthly payment plan, members commit to pay full season tuition in 4 monthly installments.

Full Season Registration

• Save $50 if you register for the full season with a one-time payment of $450.

• Payments can be made via e-transfer to register@raincoastchoir.com.

You will receive your official welcome email with section assignement, practice materials and other information closer to the start of the season.

Step 3

Get Ready to Sing!

To ensure that you receive important emails, add the following addresses to your contacts or safe-senders list:

Get to know the songs we’ll be singing this season. The more prepared we can be, the more songs we can sing!

• You will receive a playlist of this season’s songs as soon as you register. We recommend listening to these songs a bunch! This will help you get a feel for the melody (which provides great context for understanding and memorizing harmonies), the style, and energy of the songs.

• Singers are encouraged to learn their parts to the songs on their own to the best of their ability.

• You will receive practice tracks and lyrics shortly before the season starts to help you get a head start on some of the songs.

In order to Register for the Spring 2024 Season, members must agree to abide by our Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to make changes to our requirements for masks, social distancing, etc. if new developments arise.
